A day spent with the cool superheroes of the city, you get to live the life of a ‘Dabbawala’ in Mumbai. Kick-starting the morning with an immersive talk with the spokesperson of the Dabbawala Association, you get to know the intricate details of the magnificent tiffin service which has been in existence for almost 130 years!

After the talk at a pre-booked conference venue (The talk is only conducted for 20 people and above), we head straight to the Headquarters of the Association, located in Dadar, where YOU will sort each ‘Dabba’ or ‘tiffin yourself. Once the sorting process is over, you’ll also brave the local trains and not just that, you also get to interact with the tiffin men en route!
On reaching your particular destination, you will not only deliver the freshly –cooked home food but also deliver a bundle of smiles together.
Once the activity is over at 12:30 PM, we will be having lunch at Samrat, a restaurant serving authentic, Vegetarian local cuisine to gorge on a delectable Gujarati Thali!

Cancellation Policy

  • We work on a 100% advance payment for the tour. If the payment is not done before the commencement of the tour, No Footprints can take a call of not conducting the tour
  • If the tour is cancelled within 7 days of the commencement of the tour: we will charge 100% cancellation fee
  • If the tour is cancelled within 8 to 14 days of the commencement of the tour: we will charge a 50% cancellation fee
  • If the tour is cancelled 15 days before the commencement of the tour: there will be no retention

Covid Precautions

Post lockdown, we’re super stoked to announce our on-ground tours with proper social distancing measures as made mandatory by the Government of India. The safety of our patrons is our topmost priority and hence we request you to always wear a mask.

  • All our tour leaders are double vaccinated
  • Our cars are sanitised and the best hygiene practices are followed
  • For groups of over 15, we use an audio guide. This helps the guests hear the tour leader, while maintaining social distancing
  • We start the tour 30 minutes before in order to avoid crowding wherever possible
  • Our tour leaders will wear a mask at all times

Extras

  • If you are staying at the ship at the Mumbai International Cruise Terminal and need a pick-up from the port, there are an additional cost of Rs 1000/- per person. This amount is to be paid in cash to the guide or the driver at the start of the tour.
  • For any tours in Bandra & beyond, away from South Mumbai, if you take our transport, you will be charged a toll on actuals. This amount is to be paid in cash to the guide or the driver at the start of the tour
